“Flavor at First Sight”

“Flavor at First Sight” Father, husband, chef, teacher, diner.

“I’m passionate about gastronomy, but what truly fulfills me is creating unique experiences through food and sharing them with my family, friends, and now—with you.”

My culinary journey began 24 years ago at the Culinary Arts Academy in Venezuela, where I later became an instructor. After six years of cooking in fine-dining restaurants, I opened a restaurant in Panama, where I spent most of my career. Transitioning from being a chef at a French Bistro to owning restaurants specializing in Mediterranean, Latin American, and Caribbean cuisine.

New York – a family project

In 2023, my wife’s career took us to New York with the UN, and we embraced it as a family adventure to keep growing together. I transitioned from restaurant management to bringing exquisite, nutritious dishes directly to your home, captivating hearts and palates at your table.

“I have immersed myself in the journey of food transformation, from its purest and most natural origins, until becoming elaborate culinary creations.”

It all started 24 years ago, when the culinary academy captivated me. My passion for cooking inspired my professors to offer me a scholarship to develop my career. After graduating, the same academy opened me its doors to become a professor. It was a tremendous challenge to inspire and transmit to others what I love so much, but I succeeded.

Then, I moved from professor to chef, manager, advisor, and even started my own restaurant. A constant in every single step has been the acnowledgent of the immense power of food. It frees you, satisfies you, connects you with others, and creates unforgettable memories that turn into stories. These stories are what I want you to experience and enjoy through my dishes.

My culinary exploration knows no borders. I’ve tasted an unforgettable seafood meal in Paris accompanied by perfect champaigne. I’ve searched for the perfect tapas and the richest Spanish tortillas in Madrid after a vermouth. I’ve eaten Caribbean fried fish with patacones and a cold beer by the sea. I’ve had shrimp-stuffed arepas for breakfast in Carúpano. I’ve dined on a succulent aged cow ribeye in León, Spain.

In short, I love good food, but what fills me the most is being able to enjoy it with my family, friends, and at this point in my career, with you.

Tell me your story, and I’ll craft the perfect recipe!
